Dana Pastula is the creative mind behind Cafe O'Lei and it's monstrous success. With multiple restaurants on Maui, Cafe O'Lei is flushed with business. Their catering business is just as popular and busy as their restaurants. Their prices are reasonable and the food very good. This doesn't mean that Cafe O'Lei is perfect. The major problem with doing any business with them is that they're way too busy. Getting any meaningful correspondence from them is a difficult task. If you're planning a major event, you'll need to really work hard to get your vision across. Dana's assistant, Molly, has taken over much of the catering side of Cafe O'Lei.

They regularly book more than one event on the same day, so you may want to make sure that either Dana or Molly will be present. In general, Cafe O'Lei has built a strong reputation as a quality caterer for a reason. They are good at what they do. Check out the Cafe O'Lei Menu.

I ATTENDED A WEDDING AT A PRIVATE HOME IN KULA ON 13 AUG THAT WAS CATERED BY CAFE O'LEI. ALL THE FOOD FROM APPETIZERS AT COCKTAIL HOUR TO MAIN COURSES, THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. THE FISH SERVED WAS FRESH AND SIMPLY PREPARED AND DELICIOUS. THEIR FOOD WAS ON A PAR WITH SOME OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS ON MAUI....GREAT JOB. THE STAFF WAS FIRST RATE AS WELL.

Very good food, with a great deal of variety on the menu. Very busy, so make a reservation. Unfortunately, the staff is composed of the most apathetic 20-somethings living on the island of Maui. We were going to return, and made a reservation as we were leaving, but the hostess was so apathetic we decided not to do so.
Food - excellent, and good variety, but the indifference of the staff is very off-putting.

Cafe O'Lei catered my sister's wedding and it was OUTSTANDING!!! I'm getting married next year and I wish Cafe O'Lei was on the west coast! Dana and her team are great. They responded quickly and worked so hard to accommodate us. Their food is great and the prices were so reasonable! DEFINITELY give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

We had our daughter's wedding dinner here in May and the food and service was wonderful! Everything was absolutely beautiful and the staff was great. Highly recommend you visit here!

I can't say enough about Cafe O'Lei. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. They catered my wedding and everyone is still raving about the food and staff. They made my wedding perfect! Dana met with me a year ago and at that time we tasted her great food. A year later, it was just as wonderful! Marcy was efficient, polite and so friendly. I HIGHLY recommend them!
