Dana Pastula is the creative mind behind Cafe O'Lei and it's monstrous success. With multiple restaurants on Maui, Cafe O'Lei is flushed with business. Their catering business is just as popular and busy as their restaurants. Their prices are reasonable and the food very good. This doesn't mean that Cafe O'Lei is perfect. The major problem with doing any business with them is that they're way too busy. Getting any meaningful correspondence from them is a difficult task. If you're planning a major event, you'll need to really work hard to get your vision across. Dana's assistant, Molly, has taken over much of the catering side of Cafe O'Lei.

They regularly book more than one event on the same day, so you may want to make sure that either Dana or Molly will be present. In general, Cafe O'Lei has built a strong reputation as a quality caterer for a reason. They are good at what they do. Check out the Cafe O'Lei Menu.

We had lunch at Cafe O Lei yesterday. The chicken was a touch overcooked, but the rest was very good. They have great sticky rice! We enjoyed it, especially for the price.

We eat at Cafe O'lei at least a couple times each time we come to Maui. The Mahi Mahi turned my wife into a fish eater so I thank you very much. The food is always top notch and the prices are very reasonable. You can't ask for a better place to take your friends or family in Kihei. the only thing that may be a problem is the restaurant is so good the line ups at the door are getting longer. Get there early.

I've been to Maui seven times over the last ten years. The last time was for the incredible food at the remarkable prices I was able to get at Cafe O'lei. This is one of the few places on the island where you never feel like you were ripped off on portions and prices. They have the greatest ceasar salid in the world. When they do Hawaian style ribs,They melt in your mouth. I can't say enough about this restaurant.

I've eaten here a couple times. The food is always pretty good and the price is super low, relatively.

When it comes to their catering, it seems to be close to the same, though not quite as good. I was a friends wedding 2 weeks ago and the food was good, but not as good. Still good though, but I think they could step it up a bit. From what I hear, they are the busiest caterers on the island, which may be the reason for not holding their standard quite as well as they do at the restaurants. Cafe O'lei is worth going to dinner or lunch for sure.

the event was catered by cafe o'lei and the food was excellent. the preparation was very nice, the staff was kind and courteous to all the guest. i would recommend them to anyone coming over or who lives here.

We were just at a wedding catered by Cafe O'Lei and I was really disappointed. The chicken was raw in the middle and the beef was overcooked. Also their platters were chipped and worn looking, I certainly won't eat at their restaurant!

We just went to our friends wedding that was catered by Cafe O lei. The food was really good, and opened our eyes to a new place to eat on Maui. I didnt know they had restaurants here until now. Cafe O lei is now one of my favorite restaurants on the island.
